Existential Phenomenological Psychotherapy
The existentialist phenomenological approach to psychotherapy focuses on the personal choices and responsibilities that a person has for their life. It is a phenomenological perspective that is based on examining how a person experiences themselves and their environment. It concentrates on helping the person to understand how their life is unique and how their personality and experiences influence their actions and values. This perspective is also based on examining how past life experiences have shaped and influenced the person’s identity and how this may affect their current life. It recognizes that every person’s experience is unique and that there are a number of factors outside the person that influence actions today.
In my approach to you in existential phenomenological therapy, I focus on helping you get in touch with your personal potentials and create conscious and meaningful choices
Together with me
Together we explore your history, your lived life itself and how you view your life, your existence. We examine your feelings, thoughts, actions and situations where they are experienced immediately.
We unfold your experiences and explore your emotions to create a greater understanding and acceptance of your experiences and situations. With the existentialist approach, I try to support you in finding more influence where possible and more acceptance where it makes sense. By developing your personal potential, it could be possible to discover and take responsibility where you have influence, thus creating meaning and more inner peace with life.
